Prom:

Sam and I got up at 10.40 to go to our hair appointment at 11. Brook did our makeup and hair, and it took us each 1 hour to get ready. We didn't tan on the day before prom, because we didnt have time, but we went every other day for 2 weeks. I went home to get ready and pack my stuff, and Sam and Penny came to pick me and Jess up around 3pm. Jess tried out different effect with her camera, and once everybody was ready to go we headed to the park to take pictures at 4pm. Since there was a banquet for all Juniors and Seniors, we went to eat in Strong city, together with Kilian and his date. It was really delicious but we didn't have too much time. Adam and Austin picked us up at 9pm and we went to the middle school gym. The juniors did a great job decorating the gym, but the DJ sucked. The music wasn't really good and everybody was complaining. I slow danced with Adam, Brad, Jeremy and Quinton. Adam got a little too into dancing, and hurt his knee, so he had to go get it checked and i felt bad for him. Austin took us home to change for after prom. Hadam was back to after prom , where they had lots of food, for example an ice cream machine!! They had a group of actors/entertainers from another school which was alright and blow up thingys for children where you could run and fight on. The after prom shirts don't look that good, but they are a great memory. After prom was voer at 3am, and everybody either went home, to julias or the Neufelds. We decided to go to the Neufelds for pancakes and finally got home around 4.30am. It was a great night, but very emotional and not as exciting as everybody makes it sound.

I couldn't really find the time, or motivation to write new blog posts the last weeks..so I'm just going to put together a few random days from the last weeks that I remember or that I took notes of. The day sam came back from Florida, her and her mom came to pick me and their dog max up, and we spent the rest of the night with Brad. Another day, Brad, sam, sydnee and I went to sonic, and we went to Brads after sydnee had to go home. We were an hour late, because the clock in brad's truck was an hour back, so sams mom was mad and Brad had to take me home after 12am.. 

One saturday i spent my time wisely and I watched "keeping up with the kardashians" for 6 hours.. After that I decided to  get up and hung out with sam, brad and sydnee. The next morning, sam, her mom and I went to James' birthday party, he is Sams sisters son and he turned 2, his little brother was just born a week before his birthday. After that, we went to eat chinese in hillsboro. On sunday, Sam, Jess and I went to wichita to look for a prom dress. It was really frustrating because I didn't really like any of the dresses and the others were mad at me because I didn't like any. After 4 hours, we went back to the first store and I tried on every dress that looked okay, and I finally found one, even if it wasn't my first choice. We dropped sam off, and I walked over to Subway and hung out with Remington and Sydnee for a while, because they were working. I met lance in the park, and we enjoyed the nice weather. Jess was on a trip for work again, and lance stayed one night and we watched horror movies, I had to go to school the next morning and was super tired. Even though I am a manager in track, I work out with them once in a while, that's what i did wednesday, because falon couldn't do the regular workout because she had issues with her knee. On a Thursday, the entire school got to see the school play, which was pretty funny, I can't remember the name of the play though. Molly, Sam and I went to sonic on friday after practice, and we met literally entire marion there, which was funny, because brad ditched us earlier and told us his parents wouldn't let him hang out, but surprise, he was sitting in the car right next to us. Of course we went to sonic again the next day, together with Molly, her dad and her boyfriend Luke. Sam and I made homemade pizza for Brad as a surprise after work, and all he said was "This looks like shit.", which makes him sound like a pretty shitty person, but he's awesome. Brad is basically our not-boyfriend.

On saturday, we went to see Sydnee at subway and ran into Britanny, Miran and Ethan and talked for a while. Later that night we cruised with Neufeld in his new bitch car (its super red ad it looks like his mom bought it for him, he thinks it's super cool though) Tuesday after practice, Jessica and I went to wichita to get money for me and she wanted to buy some wine. Last weekend, Sam had to retake her drivers licence test, but she didn't pass. We went to Braums after and and lunch, then headed to walmart. We got back to marion, and decided to crusie with Neufeld, it's fun because you always meet so many people cruising on main street. One day Sam and I had to babysit her niece and nephew, which is always fun but a little stressful. We were happy once Brad got off work and came over. Maddie kept starring at him, beause she thought he looks cute, which was funny because she was so embarrassed. We invited Sydnee to come over, and went to Sonic before we played just dance at sams, we even got brad to dance! 

We had a big family reunion for easter and everybody met at the lake hall to eat together. We had lots of food and I played apples to apples almost the entire time. We had a big easter hunt, and i helped hiding eggs. I also met an awesome cousin of Jess, who made my day! The family easter was over around4, and I went over to sams where we didn't do much the rest of the day but cruise with Molly. 

The first track meet was at sterling, and the team did pretty good. Sam and I spent the entire time timing runners and writing down scores. Sarah and I went to Mcpherson the other day, to take pictures for photography class, but I couldn't find my camera, so we just went to walmart and Mcdonalds. The day before prom, we had a special event in school. The safe team acted out a car crash out at the cemetery. We were sitting in our classrooms, and were able to hear an emergency call through the intercom. Everybody went outside and got onto school buses that took us down to the cemetery. A man with a microphone explained the situation and everything that happened, and even parents helped acting out the scene. It was shocking and the had the police, ambulance and firemen come to make it as real as possible. They took real cars and opened them professionally. We went back to the auditorium and the family of a guy that goes to my school talked about their experience, because his brother almost died in a car crash. It was very emotional, especially for sammy, since her brother died in a car accident 2 years ago. 

The second track meet this season was at Herington, and we had a really good time! The 4x400 relays both won and ran amazing times! I even met a guy, that I got to know back in Germany on the Carl Duisberg weekend, and we were so surprised to see each other, we found out that we live about 10 minutes away from each other.

the last week was kind of stressful and busy, because it was the last week before spring break. we had projects due and a lot of tests, and it was always hot at practice. (kansas weather is so crazy we just had snow, and one week later it's 30 degrees celcius) on days like those, I'm glad that I am "just" a manager. I practiced friday morning though, because we had morning practice before school. It was hard, but fun and they had doughnuts for us at the end of practice. I wasn't too excited for spring break, because almost everyone is going places. Most of them are going to texas, florida or colorado. Sam and her family are in florida to visit her stepdad who works there, and i am watching her dog max. 

Jess is/was gone the last 3 days and i was/ am alone at home. Friday, I hung out with Sarah and I didn't do much on saturday and sunday, but work out and try to tan for prom. I also walked max around the lake, so i ended up running/walking 10km almost every day the last days.

 Monday, Brittany and I went to the track to do the track workout that everyone is supposed to do over spring break. (i don't have to do it since i am just a manager) Her mom and brother, who is in middle school track, ran with us. i already worked out that day, so i ended up running 4 1/2 miles that day. after working out we went to the store and after we ate supper, we started watching a movie together. Brittany and i decided to cruise and met sarah and falon and hung out for a bit.

 tuesday, i went to Katelyn's and we had to go to the track, because her brother had middle school practice for throwing. Later, at 1.30am Lance and i decided to hang out, so he rode his bike all the way to the lake and i met him outside. we watched a horror movie and fell asleep at 6am.

I made my prom hair and makeup appoingmtent last week while i was at signatures with britanny and sam after we went to sonic, and it kind of sucks, because we have to be there at 11am, and we start taking pictures at 3/4pm, but tht was the only time she had an appointment left.i am probably going to look for a dress on saturday

track and field started this week, and sam and i are the managers. It's perfect, because we are going to be able to be part of the team, work out whenever we want to (we asked coach thierolf) and don't have to compete at meets. I was alone almost all week and it was really cold. One day I organized uniforms, and other days I just watched the others run and the throwers throw, and i learned that throwing is actually hard, because it's a lot of work and technique is very important. I was going to walk with Falon today, because she has issues with her knee, but we ended up running half and walking the other half of the track, and got as much workout as the others. Jessi came up to me and told me, that mr. thierolf was talking about putting me on the 4x800 relay, which made me really happy because I'm not even running track, but he wants to put me on the team. I dont want to do it though, because the reason I'm not running track, is that i don't want to compete in the meets; that was the part I really didn't like about cross country. We also got our seats rearranged in physical science and I don't sit with Sam and Jeremy anymore which made me so mad, because it's already my least favorite class.

the week before valentines day, we had the chance to buy crushes and roses for someone. most people but them for freinds and sign them with names, but you can also buy them for your crush or boy/grilfriend without putting a name or note on it. I was really surprised, because i had 2 roses and 4 crushes at the end of the day, only from friends tough.  Jeremy was "sad" that he didn't get anything, so sam and I took one of my crushes and wrote a funny note on it and delivered it during last hour because i took a test and went to the library after, thats what i always do when we have work hours. 

I've spend more time with sarah the last weeks and it's always fun to hang out. Sam, Jessica and I went to manhattan and met Anna and Jordan to eat dinner. Jessica got girls scout cookies for all of us as a valentines present and of course, there was no way to go to manhattan without stopping by starbucks at the end of the night. After we got back, we cruised with Molly and went to Wendy's in Hillsboro. We found out, that a house burned down in the afternoon, and when we drobe by at 11, it was still in flames! Sam and I started Saturday with a bunch of movies and went to the youth center later that day. They had a "anti valentines day party" with broken heart cookies and a scavenger hunt. We left before they started the scavenger hunt, because Molly picked us up to go to a Bonfire at Remingtons. After Sam and I got back, we went to the football field to stargaze. We wore so many layers, but it was too cold, so we left after 15 minutes. Tuesday was the last basketball homegame, and the season is over now. After school i went to sarah's and the game amazing. Sam, Austin, adam and I but also everyone else had so much fun, and after the game was over, Quinton and I hung out for a bit. 

We also had the "barn yard olympics" that week, and every seminar class had to have different players in different areas. I ran the 3-legged-race with WIlliam. Neufeld, Sam and I cruised for a bit in the evening. Adam and Shyla's birthday were last week, and so Adam decided to go bowling for his birthday on saturday. Sam, her mom and I went to walmart at mcpherson and ate chinese, before adam, kilian and ethan came to pick us up. We met logan, jeremy and Quinton at the bowling alley. It was so much fun, but i definitely lost. After we were done, we went to the youth center and had so much fun. They played some of sam's songs, we played basketball and had a big "fight". It's funny, because it seems like Sam and I are "always" the only girls. 

I hung out with sarah the first two days of this week, and   went to sams after school on thrusday. she had to work, but i hung out with her mom and did homework. jessica picked me up to get stuff and when i got back, we went to sonic with neufeld, austin (his little brother) and jan (neufelds german exchange student). We didn't have school this friday, and our cross country team had made plans for going to the movies. We watched Mcfarland USA, a movie about a cross country team. Britanny, Sam,Meggan,Kaylie and I went to Mcdonalds and walmart before we met the others at the movies in Newton. Britanny, Sam and I picket up Nathan after we got back and we cruised for a little bit.

 We had to babysit Braden and Maddie the next day, and I also met Jessicas boyfriend (or whatever he is) for the first time.

DIe letzten Tage/Wochen

Am Sonntag waren wir in der Kirche und Abends sind Jessica und ich zu Remington gefahren und haben mit seinen Eltern und einem anderen Freund gekocht und gegessen, danach haben wir "Cards against Humanity" gespielt und es hat total viel Spass gemacht.

Am naechsten Tag sind Britanny, Sam und ich zu Sonic gefahren und danach war ich mit Sarah cruisen. Ich habe wieder anfgefangen mehr Sport zu machen und bin fast jeden Tag um den See laufen gegangen (5 Kilometer), es ist immer so schoen bei Sonnenuntergang laufen zu gehen.

Ein mal hatte ich nach der haelfte keine Lust mehr und habe Brad angerufen, er hat mich abgeholt und wir sind zum Basketballspiel unserer Schule gefahren. 

An einem Mittwoch sind Molly, Sam und ich zusammen laufen gegangen und abends waren Sam und ich im Park mit Brad und Wesley. 

An einem Wochenende hatte ich meine Babypuppe, die man aus typischen amerikanischen Filmen kennt, und es war echt stressig und ich dachte erst das ich nichts unternehmen koennte, aber ich habe mich dann dazu entschieden es einfach ueberall mit hinzunehmen, und somit sind wir mit dem Rad gefahren (habe es mit einem Schal befestigt - schlechte Idee) und waren abends beim youth center und haben Spiele gespielt und Sarah, Logan und ich haben es mit zum Park genommen. Emily hatte das Baby zum Glueck auch, und darum konnten wir am Sonntag zusammen in einem Raum in der Kirche sizten mit einem grossen Fenster und alles sehen, aber haben niemanden gestoert falls die Baby's weinen wuerden.

In unseren Bullying prevention groups wurde ein Gedicht gezeigt, was ich echt toll fand und mal erwahnen musste, hier ist ein link. http://www.tothisdayproject.com/

Sam uns ich waren einen Tag mit WIlliam mit den Raedern unterwegs, und ich wurde in der Schule in den "Honors mentions" erwahnt, denn alle Schueler mit einem GPS ueber 3.0 wurden erwaehnt und durften waehrend Seminar Eis essen. Außerdem haben wir einen auf frei bekommen weil unsere Schule eine der besten der Nation ist. 

An einem anderen Wochende hatten wir einen Maadelsabend und Lana, Kennedy, Jessica, Sam und ich haben American Sniper geguckt. Dienstag sind Sam, Jess und ich zu Walmart gefahren nd waren danach noch mexikanisch essen, das Essen war aber nicht so gut.

 Als Sam und Brad mich letzten abgeholt haben, ist Brad mit seinem Truck stecken geblieben und fast in den See gefallen und Jessica und ich mussten mit dem Truck nkommen und ihn rausziehen, es ist aber nichts passiert. Auzzerdem war letzten SUper bowl, Sam und ich waren nur kurz beim Youth center aber haben das Spiel nicht angeguckt. Als Brittany, Sam und ich letzten cruisen waren, wurden wir von der Polizei angehalten, weil Britanny vergessen hatte ihre Lichter auszumachen 3 Sekunden nachdem wir in die Stadt gekommen sind, und wir haben uns richtig aufgeregt weil das echt nicht fair war.

Dienstag hatten wir "candidate games" fuer Homecoming, und es war so langweilig das wir nach 2 Minuten wieder gegangen sind. Wir hatten die ganze Woche Spirit Week und macr Leute sahen sehr gut aus, hier ist Mason als Schlafanzug Tag war.

Freitag war das Homegame fuer Homecoming und ich war Teil der Heartforamtion, alle Maedchen haben schwarz und weiss getragen und haben ein Herz geformt indem die Kandidaten auf dem Spielfeld gestanden haben. Wir haben riesige Plakate mit den Köpfen der chaoches, hier bin ich mit mr mcmillin.

 Vor und nach dem Spiel war ich mit Britanny und wir sind Abends noch zu Etahns gefahren, der DOnnerstag schon bei mir war, und am Ende habe ich bei Britanny uebernachtet. 

Gestern hatten wir WInter formal, und die Tage davor waren echt stressig. Ich hatte ein Kleid was mit am Ende nicht gefallen hat, also habe ich 3 Tage vorher ein anderes Kleid bestellt, welches knapp vorher angekommen ist. Ich habe mich bei Sam fertig gemacht und Molly ist spaeter auch noch gekommen.Logan war mein "date", aber wir sind nur als Freunde gegangen. Er hat mich und Sam abgeholt, und er hatte sogar Blumen fuer mich. Wir sind zu seinem Haus gefahren um Fotos zu machen, und der Tanz hat echt Spass gemacht!Man musste wie immer den Alkoholtest machen und ein Polizist war da. Danach sind Nathan, Molly, Sam und ich zu Wendy's gefahren und waren beim Footballfield um Sterne anzugucken. Es war ein toller Abend!
