The one meet we really had to help with the entire time, was one middle school track meet. It was a home meet, but we held it at peabody, since our new track was't done yet. Brad,Neufeld,Kirsten,Sam,Britanny and I helped timing with other adults, and it was actually a lot of fun. Brad's 18th birthday was on Thursday, April 23, and Sam and I got him (us) a three piece necklace. The necklace spells out "best b*tches" and is in the shape of a broken heart, he loves it and we all wear it every day.

We had a track meet on Friday, and some of us were scared because of the tornado weather, but everything went well. Britanny, Sam and I  visited Shyla, a girl that is in my xc team on Saturday, and saw her baby girl for the first time, her name is Lilly. Later that day, Sam, her mom and I looked at Colin's house, because they are selling it. Sam and her mom are just waiting for their house to sell, because they really want to move in.

On another day, I hung out with Sarah, and we ended up hanging out with her friend Kendra from Hillsboro. We cruised and made Tacos at her house.

On friday, we left early at 6am for a track meet in Beloit. It was a really long day, and I stayed at Sams the night before. We didn't have much food with us, but the weather was awesome. We stopped at caseys on the way back, because we got home late that night and everybody was tired. The day after, Brad, Sam and I went to walmart in Hillsboro. It is new, and more like a normal grocery store, rather than the big walmarts. On the way back we stopped at sonic.

A few weeks ago, I had my pre departure meeting with Share, and I finally got to see Lisa again. It was a short meeting, we played games where our host families had to answer questions about us like our favorite food, or what we are gonna miss the most about the USA, and after that it was the other way around. We had a lot of good food, and I had made chocolate chip cookies, filled with oreos in the center. This was the last time that Lisa and I saw each other in America. After I got back I went out to the spot out at the lake and ran into Sam and Brad. We stayed out long and had a sad talk. I am going to miss both of them a lot!

The next track meet was on tuesday, and Sam didn't go cause she had a hair appointment. It was a lot of fun, and the next day, they had a XC meeting for the next season in school. I got to see coach, and now that everybody has heard about how much fun XC was this last year, a lot of people are going to do it, even guys that were in football before. We also met Coach at subway the other day which was fun!

Sarah and I hung out on Saturday, and had a deep talk in her car at the cemetery. It was rainy and we drank hot chocolate. Later that night Brad and Sam came to pick me up, and we made brownies at Sam's.

I spent Sunday at home, and tried to pre pack my stuff. Later Quinton and I talked out at the lake. 

Since we had a sophomore/freshman meet where not so many teams competed, Jan decided to run the 4x800, which was probably one of the funniest things this season. He started off sprinting and died after the first 400m. We even forgot to split time, because we were laughing so hard.

The seniors last day of school was on Wednesday, 05/03/15 and I had everybody sign my marion high school hoodie. I only let my friends sign it, or people that I had classes with, and there was no space left, which is a good problem to have. Since that day, school wasn't the same anymore..you could tell that people were missing. 

This years pops concert was the Thursday after. The bad played, the choir sang, and students, including Sam singing her own song "stars", performed solos. It was amazing and everybody sounded so good. I talked to Quinton's mom Dawn after, because I hadn't seen her in a while, and went on a walk with Sam. 

League was a home meet that we could finally host at marion. The track was finished exactly that day, with painting the last lines. Britanny, Sam, Meggan and I went to Sonic after, and met Bryce, Tasty Tyler, Taylor,Bailey,Mason,Remington,Emily and Kolton. After that we went to "the igloo" and ate Snow cones, I had red velvet. 

The day before graduation, I finished Quinton's graduation present until late at night. I had to get up at 6am, because we went to Anna's College graduation at Kstate in the morning. It took forever cause there were a lot of graduates, and ate at the park after. I had about 30 minutes in marion, until I had to leave for Marion's graduation. This one was really short compared to Anna's, because there were only about 15 students graduating. They showed slideshows, held speeches and a lot of people had a graduation party after. Britanny, sam and I went to the ones we were invited to together. First we went to Miran's out at the lake, and she had so much candy! Braden's was next on the list, followed by Neufeld's. Kaylie's was out at the library, and she let me put on her clothes. While we were there, the weather got so bad, even though it was already raining. We still decided to go by Quinton's out in the country for a little bit. On the way back we stocked at caseys and got candy, then we started watching High School Musical 1 & 2 and stayed the night at Brit's.

Finals week came up super fast, and I honestly didn't study much. On monday, Krisde came over "for a little bit", but ended up staying until 8. One day we had so much time left over, that we played twister in nutrition and wellness.We made mug brownies to make up a lab in nutrition and wellness for her, and talked a lot. I really enjoyed it, cause we don't hang out as much as we used to at the beginning of the year.

Tuesday, I worked concession stands for baseball with Noah, Sam and Tfahey. It was fun, but the weather was bad so they cancelled the game. Since the game on Tuesday was cancelled, we had to come back on Thursday, which was kinda pointless, because only one game was left. I volunteered to work there, and I liked doing it, but it actually is a sophomore class thing to raise money for financing next years prom, and I, as an exchange student, worked there, while others never worked and I won't even be there. After concessions Miranda and Nora, sam's friends came over and we had to get ready for the athletic banquet. Her friends decided to come with us, but I didn't really have fun. They left the banquet right after Sam got her XC award, but I decided to stay. Brad and I went to Sonic and Walmart afterwards, and stayed out at the lake until 11pm.

School was already out on Thursday, so Molly had to come get me Friday morning at 10.30 to go to the stadium. We left for track regionals, where athletes qualify for state, at Beloit, and after about 1 1/2 hours, our bus started breaking down. We made it there, but ended up getting a new bus. It was not that much fun and the weather was bad that day.

Jan's goodbye party was this last Sunday, and a little disappointing, he thought everybody would just know about it and didn't tell a lot of people about it. Sam, Marissa and I tried to text people to come over, but a lot of them were at work or not in town. It was cool to meet his parents though, and they had really good self made ice cream. Unfortunately Sam and I had to leave after one hour, because Jess and I had planned a cookout our at our house for that night. Some of jesses friends that I got to now over the year came over with their children, and I had invited Sam, Remington,Braden,taylor, and Sydnee. Neufeld, baby Neufeld and jan stopped by later that night. Jordan moved back 2 weeks ago so he was here, and Anna and her boyfriend were part of the night also. We had a lot of good food, karaoke, kicker, and played cards against humanity. It was a lot of fun, until Braden and his stepdad got in a fight.

Sam stayed and left in the morning, and I took time for myself and relaxed. Later that night, I went over to Sams and we cruised with Erika and Mckenzee. We ended up playing tag with a lot of others on mainstreet. The game is not super fair, because there are 3 cars that played, and everybody else leaves their cars  and runs around the entire town. After being dead from running two blocks, I had to admit that I should probably start running again. It was a lot of fun tho, i sometimes miss hanging out at mainstreet.

I stayed at Sams, and Molly came over the next morning. We went to Sonic, and Sam and I hung out with Britanny after. Around 4pm, Sarah came to pick me up and we hung out for a few hours. Britanny, Brad and I met at Subway around 7pm, to eat with Sam and her Dad that she had'nt seen in a long time. After that, Sam went with Britanny and Brad and I went to walmart and Sonic. We picked up sammy later that night and went to Brad's house. 

I spent the entire Wednesday morning cooking and baking for our goodbye party. Max, Kilian and I had decided to have one together, because it is easier and more fun. It ended up being an awesome night with lots of food, which I forgot to eat cause I was talking to everybody, S'mores, basketball,pictures and interesting talks.

Emily and Katelyn came over Thursday at noon to cook with Sam and I, because it was going to be the last time that Emily and I would see each other before I leave. We made pizza rolls from scratch, and an awesome mint -chocolate dessert that tastes heavenly! While we were cooking, we invited Colin to come over, and we had a blast! Colin stayed after, and we just hung out at my house. After he left, brad came over and we walked out to a dock. We met Braden and Neufeld on our way back, and we wanted to go to Newton with them, but It was too late, since state track was going to be early in the morning.

Friday was state track, and Jess,Jordan,Sam and I picked up Kilian in town. We had to pay $7 top get in, and watched some of our team members compete. Brad made it to finals yesterday, and is about to run hurdles in finals right now, I hope he places!! After spending 2 hours at the track meet, which is by the way the biggest high school state track in the state, we went to Braums and ate. The Sedgwick County Zoo was our next stop. It was a lot of fun, but I was ready to go home after 3 hours. This was my last time to see Kilian in the USA, because he is leaving this Monday. It was also the last time to see the track coaches, and I was really sad. I almost cried saying goodbye to mr. Thierolf, he is my favorite teacher. 

I was about to fall asleep when we got home, but sam and Colin came over to watch a movie. Before we even started, we ended up going to panda kitchen with brad, and on our way home we picked up Sydnee. We watched sorority row at my house, and had a really fun night!
